Giancarlo Colombo, who ran the Italian clothing firm named after his father, Mario, along with his own brother Angelo for many years, has passed away at the age of 83. Called Manifattura Mario Colombo, the company owns the Colmar brand and licenses Lacoste for the Italian market. Without any connection with the former manager’s death, Colmar is launching a vintage collection of technical skiwear inspired by the 1970s, when the brand sponsored Gustavo Thöni, Piero Gros and other famous Italian champions.
