Gilbert has announced a new partnership to become the official rugby ball of the New Zealand Rugby Union (NZRU) at all levels. The British brand will be the official rugby ball supplier of the All Blacks and Black Ferns men’s and women’s national teams, as well as New Zealand’s sevens teams and domestic competitions. The deal sees Gilbert return as a partner of NZR after an 18-year hiatus.
Gilbert was founded at the start of the 19th century by William Gilbert. The brand has been the official ball at the Rugby World Cup for the last eight consecutive tournaments.
