Globetrotter Ausrüstung, the Hamburg-based retail giant, managed another impressive increase in turnover 9.8 percent. Sales after VAT jumped from €205 million to €225 million during the fiscal year 2009-10, which ended on Feb. 28. The increase was lower in comparison with the year 2008-09 when sales soared by roughly 15 percent. These figures do not include Transa, the big Swiss outdoor chain, in which Globetrotter bought a 25 percent stake in early 2009 (more in The Outdoor Industry Compass).
