After the appointment of Stefan Rönn as managing director of the probable market leader of golf wear in Europe in July, Golfino has more major changes in its staff to announce: Christine Garaïalde has been named new director for Golfino’s wholesale business for all of southern Europe, which is France, Italy, Spain and Portugal. The 49-year-old has been in a similar position in the company for the French market alone since 2006. She has been in the golf industry for about two decades serving for companies such as Cobra, Blue Green Group and PMG International. As sales director of the French brand of hardgoods Piguy Sport, she introduced Golfino to the French market.

Sedakat Eyiengin has been appointed chief of wholesale for Central Europe, which comprises the German-speaking and the Benelux countries. The 32-year-old was chief of the customer service at the headquarters outside Hamburg. Stefan Rönn is now additionally in charge of directing the wholesale business in northern Europe (Scandinavia and the British Isles) on an interim basis.

The latest appointments came after Golfino recently hired Stefan Tjellander as sales agent for Spain. Based in Málaga, he has been in the golf business for about 15 years and represents other important brands such as Daily, Glenmuir, Ecco and Bridgestone. The Swede replaces Kristina Nissen, who has taken care both of marketing at the headquarters and of country management for Spain. After three years in that double position Nissen will concentrate on marketing.
