Golfsmith Europe continues to round up its offer of golf grips and shafts with other branded products for golf shops. Using its own network of 18 agents and distributors throughout Europe, it has agreed to distribute Ogio golf bags and Nike golf eyewear, developed by Marchon, in the U.K. and most of Europe.

Golfsmith Europe will sell Nike’s golf eyewear starting with the 2011 collection in September. It will work with the outgoing distributor of Ogio golf bags, Skygolf, until the end of December in order to ensure a smooth transition. Action to Sport (A2S), another company recently established by Benny Bozano, who previously handled DaKine and other brands at Tomasoni Topsails, has agreed to distribute Ogio’s outdoor backpacks and specialty action sports gear in Italy.

Golfsmith Europe secured the European rights for MacGregor golf products in May 2009. Other lines distributed by the company, based in the U.K., are Snake Eyes Custom golf clubs (since 1999), Bettinardi putters, Sonocaddie GPS devices, Zevo boxed sets and Opti-logic rangefinders.

Like its parent company in the U.S., Golfsmith Europe also offers custom-fitting and training programs, but also sells a complete range of component grips and shafts. It sells through pro shops and other major retailers, including some key accounts on the Continent.
