GolfStore Group and some leading suppliers, such as Acushnet and Callaway Golf, are working together with the Swedish Golf Federation on a project to stimulate participation in golf in reaction to the recent decline in the number of registered players. Together they are considering the organization in the Spring of 2008 of a special “Day of Golf” where all the greens would offer free access to members and non-members alike, with lots of demos. A major automotive brand may be called in to act as co-sponsor of the event.
