Google Cloud and the Golden State Warriors have announced a multi-year technology partnership that will see Google Cloud as the NBA team's official cloud provider. The team will also use Google Cloud's technology to automate the collection of data analytics. Google Cloud and the Warriors are together developing real-time data pipeline analysis, which is set to provide faster analytics on high volumes of data. Early tests have enabled a reduction of the time it takes to develop portions of scouting reports by half, Google said. Google Cloud will also be a Founding Partner of the Chase Center in San Francisco, the new home venue for the Warriors in San Francisco's Mission Bay neighborhood, which is scheduled for opening in September. The Warriors and Chase Center mobile apps as well as Chase Center web properties will be hosted on Google Cloud Platform.
