GoPro's stock exchange quotation has gone up and down lately. It jumped by 19 percent after the company announced the nomination of a new vice president of design, Daniel (Danny) Coster, who has been a core member of Apple's industrial design team for over 20 years. He will directly report to Nick Woodman, founder and chief executive of GoPro. Woodman said that he first met Coster in December of 2001 on a beach in Mexico, at the start of a five-month surfing trip where he developed and tested the first GoPro prototype.
