Gore-Tex has established an “authorized repair center” for clothing in Madrid through a contract with a third-party service provider, Plumas Las Cruces, which has been manufacturing and repairing sleeping bags and other mountaineering products. It will be Gore-Tex' 16th workshop of this kind in Europe and the first one in Spain. W.L. Gore & Associates offers this kind of service already at 15 other locations in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, the U.K. and Russia.
