On Sept. 12, Gowalking.com launched a start-up founded by Jeremy Goldstein with the goal of connecting and supporting the world’s estimated 1.2 billion fitness walkers by providing a simple and innovative platform to find and join local walking groups and receive the latest walking fitness news. Gowalking.com aims to promote both physical and mental health by promoting walking as a community activity and bringing together power walkers, slow walkers, Nordic walkers, hot girl walkers and fans of all types of locomotion on two feet.
Gowalking.com aims to be a unifying force in society, promoting satisfaction, invigoration and global connectedness. Goldstein stated, “I don’t like the division between Democrats and Republicans, between Fox News and CNN, between conservative and liberal. […] I believe we all need to get along, and walking together can unite us.” Echoing Elle Woods from the movie “Naturally Blonde,” Goldstein added, “Walking is a great sport, and sports produce endorphins, and endorphins make you happy. Happy people don’t shoot their neighbors.”
Gowalking.com strives to unite walking clubs from around the world, promote health and wellness, and ultimately contribute to a healthier and happier world.
Goldstein previously co-owned and served as CEO of Navitar, Inc., an optical solution company which he successfully sold in an all-cash deal in 2022. Over the years, Goldstein has participated in various athletic events, including the Boston Marathon, Lake Placid Ironman, Spartan Mudder races and numerous 113K triathlons. His passion for fast walking and commitment to health, wellness and community led him to create Gowalking.com.
