Groupe Rossignol is going to inject €38 million into its Dynastar subsidiary to refinance its operations, although it is reported to have a similar level of profitability as other activities of the group. Meanwhile, officials of Dynastar have expressed worries about a possible loss of identity for the brand in the context of the reorganization of the group, which apparently calls for a common R&D department with Rossignol, among other measures. About 90 of the 272 employees of Dynastar, which is based in Sallanches, are due to lose their jobs. A few days ago, more than 1,500 people were reported to have marched in the streets of Sallanches, calling for the preservation of “the Dynastar legend.”
