Keith Pelley has announced that he will be stepping down as CEO of the European Tour group after almost nine years in the role. He will return to Toronto, his home city, to become president and CEO of Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE), one of the world’s leading sports and entertainment organizations.
Guy Kinnings, the current deputy CEO, Ryder Cup Director and Chief Commercial Officer at European Tour Group & Ryder Cup Europe, will take over as the new CEO of European Tour, effective April 2. Kinnings previously spent 29 years at IMG as Global Co-Managing Director of Golf.
