Halfords Group, the British retailer of cycling and automotive products, reports a strong year ended April 2, with sales up by 4.6 percent to £831.6 million (€1,010m-$1,244m) and growth in comparable store sales of 0.7 percent. The operating profit rose by 17.5 percent to £119.7 million (€145.4m-$179.1m).
