Harald Fraszczak has resigned as chief financial officer of Karstadt, for personal reasons and in amicable agreement with the German retail company. Formerly with Metro Cash & Carry, he had joined Karstadt in June 2011. German observers noted that two other top managers had left the company since one year ago: Marco Schöner, in charge of purchasing, and Andreas Boznar, in charge of sales.
