Having signed a long-term deal to become the sponsor of Spain's LaLiga football league as of 2019/20, Puma has released its official game ball for all matches in LaLiga Santander and LaLiga 1|2|3. The German sporting goods brand has introduced a number of features. The ball consists of 18 thermally sealed panels and has a 1 mm outer layer of Hi-Solid Dimple PU (San Fang) for aerodynamics and resistance to abrasion. According to Puma, the resulting structure is similar to that of a golf ball, with solid contact on the kick and straighter, more stable flight. The combination of greens in the color scheme with the red Puma logo are meant to help the ball to stand out against the football field and keep its trajectory and spin visible. For the first time, moreover, the game ball will be stamped with the LaLiga's logotype, called the “beat.” Puma's launch campaign for the ball will combine football, fun, dance and music.
