Having taken over the distribution of its Gregory line of backpacks in Japan, Black Diamond has appointed an industry veteran, Mori Hikari, to run the operation. After working for Patagonia and REI in Japan, he acted as general manager of The North Face for Goldwin over the last eight years. He will work with some of the officials who were taking care of Gregory at its former Japanese distributor, Kabushiki Kaisha A&F.
