Pedro Martínez, head of new business at Pádel Nuestro and at its parent company, 360 Padel Group, resigned at the start of September, bringing nine years of employment to a close with the overall company – as Palco23 reports. Martínez served first, for most of 2015, as Padel Nuestro’s head of SEO. From there, he became the retailer’s head of marketing and its CEO for five years, from 2016 to 2021. In late 2021, he took charge as Director of Operations, holding the post for seven months before it was expanded to the parent group as well. In July last year, Ergon Capital took a majority stake in 360 Padel Group.
Pádel Nuestro has been opening stores all over of late. Since July, it has expanded to Albacete (Spain), Casablanca (Morocco), Caracas (Venezuela), Tenerife (Spain), Reñaca (Chile), Saragossa (Spain) and Latina (Italy). This year’s plans include another six or seven in and outside of Spain. Both Miami and Belgium are on the list.
FY 2022 was Padel Nuestro’s best year yet, with €55 million in revenues, up 35 percent year-on-year.
