Helly Hansen will be the official supplier of baselayers to the U.S. Alpine Ski Team until the end of 2016 season. The collaboration reportedly began last Nov. 30 when the 48 athletes of the team wore Helly Hansen baselayers at a World Cup event at Beaver Creek, Colorado. The Norwegian company claims to have been the first to introduce technical baselayers in the early 1970s, featuring its exclusive hydrophobic Lifa technology.
