Herbert Hainer, chief executive of Adidas, and his communication manager, Jan Runau, have won this year’s “German Image Award,” an annual prize organized by the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and given to top managers by an international 7-man jury based on a selection of more than 5,000 press articles analyzed by Prime Research International. The media apparently appreciated the efforts deployed by Hainer and Runau around the World Cup. FAZZ and Prime praised Hainer for his momentum and performance, his passion for sports, and his open and fair attitude. They found both passion and discipline in Runau, whom we regard as one of the best PR managers in the industry.
