Hi-Tec is launching an innovative shoe that indicates to the wearer where to turn left or right. The new Hi-Tec Navigator features a vibrating insole with haptic technology which communicates via a smartphone navigation app through Bluetooth. After entering a destination in the smartphone via this app, the shoe guides the wearer with directional left and right foot vibrating pods. The app also offers fitness-based features including custom workouts to set fitness goals. The Navigator shoe has been developed in partnership with Lechal, an Indian electronic company. The new shoe also features a waterproof and breathable membrane, a stain repellent upper protection and Michelin traction and grip outsoles.
