Hickies, the clever shoe lacing system, has enlisted its first sponsored testimonial. He is Danny Willett, the English golf pro who won the Golf Masters in Augusta, Georgia, in April. The contract was signed just before his victory, so it was reasonably priced. It will include a signature series of lacing sets for golf shoes, developed in cooperation with the Hickies team. Willett apparently discovered the Hickies in a pro golf shop in Dubai early this year, just before winning last February's Omega Dubai Desert Classic tournament.
