Hoka One One is opening its first retail shops, in New York and Los Angeles, after introducing its first lines of running apparel. The two pop-up stores are expected to stay open through December. The 185-square-meter store in NYC is located in the Flatiron district, at 142 Fifth Avenue. The 90-square-meter shop in Los Angeles is located at 8551 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. According to reports by CNBC, the brand has signed short-term leases on the two shops but will likely look to extend the contracts. In addition to the brand’s products, the shops offer 3D foot-scanning to help customers with sizing as well as lockers where customers can store their belongings while taking a run in the area to test shoes. The two store openings come on the heels of strong results for Hoka, which posted a 95.5 percent sales increase to $213.1 million for the first quarter of its fiscal 2022. Hoka One One is part of the portfolio of Deckers Brands.
