Houdini launched three new styles for its soft shell collection at Ispo Munich. All membranes of its shell jackets are made without fluorocarbons and they are all recyclable and made from recycled fibers. The garments are made in Europe and textiles are from Teijin, a Japanese company. The Swedish company also presented the Wooler Houdi, a mid-layer jacket made in Italy from 100 percent Merino wool. The fabric is renewable, biodegradable and recyclable. The fabric for the Wooler Houdi is made in Italy and the yarns are from New Zealand. The supplier of the yarn, Reda, is part of ZQ, a traceable wool program. Houdini managed to increase its total sales by 20 to 30 percent in 2015 as compared to the previous year.
