Hugh Hamill will be heading up a new organization within Easton-Bell Sports, designed to centralize product development, design and product costing for the company's Easton, Bell, Giro and Riddell brands. His title is senior vice president of product creation and he will lead the formalized sharing of these duties among the brands. Hamill has been with the company since 2009, when he left a position at Reebok as senior vice president of brand operations for footwear, apparel and advanced development. He has 25 years of experience in product development. Among the new facilities under the new structure is “The Dome,” the Easton-Bell Sports Helmet Technology Center, which launched its first product, a helmet for baseball pitchers and infielders, in March. Giro has also recently released a line of high-performance cycling footwear using innovative engineering to enhance fit, power transfer and adjustability.
