Ian Blackman has been appointed executive chairman of Sealskins, a British supplier of waterproof socks, gloves, hats and other accessories for endurance sports such as cycling, running, outdoor, marine and equestrian sports. He spent seven years with Pentland Brands, where he acted as managing director of its footwear division from October 2008 to May 2010. He then served as director of footwear at Amazon in the U.K. between September 2010 and March 2014.
