In a ceremony at Ispo, Messe München announced the overall winners of this year's ISPO AWARDs. In the action sports category, the prize went to NOW Snowboarding for its innovative binding system I.P.O. The overall winner in the outdoor category is  Cable Vario, the via ferrata set by Edelrid. In the outdoor segment, Edelrid's product won the contest against 110 candidates and 19 nominees. The best ski is, according to the jury, the D2 by Dupraz Sports, thanks to its outstanding performance both on powder snow and on piste. Free2Move walked away with the award in the performance category for a product, Hiod One, which is based on bluetooth technology. The brand convinced the jury with its advanced communication system for cyclists.
