In November, SportScheck’s 15th door will open in downtown Frankfurt. The new store will increase the German chain’s total selling surface by 3,000 square meters to 40,000 m². Sportscheck.tv, offering a wide range of information and videos on products, training and performance.Helmut Briggl has been appointed new director of centralized services, which include the chain’s store design, visual merchandising, its loyalty card and many more. Briggl has been with Scheck since 1997 in various positions. The 32-year-old replaces Marcus Leber, who switched to Frankonia, Otto’s specialty retail chain for hunting. René Scheilen, Scheck’s sales director for its brick-and-mortar business, has additionally taken on the responsibility for expansion.
