In the new position of chief operating officer for Puma, Klaus Bauer will take over the responsibilities of Dieter Bock, the chief financial officer who is stepping down for personal reasons. In addition to finance, Bauer will also be responsible for legal, operations, logistics, information technology and human resources, effective Aug. 1. Bauer, 53, has been with Puma for 20 years, currently as a senior executive vice president. Bock, a 50-year-old veteran of the company, has worked with Puma since 1979. He has been on the board of management since 2005.
