Intersport Finland, part of Kesko Group, has signed a multi-year cooperation agreement with the Finnish Ski Association to become the main partner of the national cross-country skiing team. Nordic skiing is the largest product group in winter for Intersport Finland, with around 200,000 pairs of cross-country skis and ski boots sold in Finland every year. Finland will host the 2017 Skiing World Championships in Lahti. The agreement is valid until spring 2019, which means that it will cover the World Championships in Lahti, the winter Olympics in 2018 and the Skiing World Championships in Seefeld in 2019.
