Intersport France confirmed Jacky Rihouet as chairman and general manager of the voluntary group for the next six years at its annual meeting on June 2. Rihouet, a 58-year-old manager whose chain of 20 sporting goods stores is a member of Intersport France, has held the post since 2010. Under his leadership, the group has expanded, adding 240,000 square meters of retail space and €700 million worth of annual retail sales. Intersport France, which also has the license for Belgium, is targeting a turnover of €2.5 billion by 2020 under Rihouet, up from €1.8 billion in 2016.
