ION, the bike, surfwear and accessories company that belongs to Boards & More, has strengthened its marketing department with two new team members, Rebecca Volz and Sara Bassano. Volz worked for six years as a student assistant at Red Bull Germany in field marketing, sports communication and event marketing. She joined the ION team in mid-June as digital junior marketing manager for ION Bike and ION Water International. Bassano joined ION Bike International on July 1 as its new junior marketing manager, following in the footsteps of Daniel Regenold, who is leaving the bike industry after three years with ION. She started her professional career at the sports PR agency KGK and moved from there to aMunich-based sports marketing and communications agency, Rasoulution.
