Andrew Messick has announced that he will be retiring in 2023 from his position as president and CEO of The Ironman Group. Following the recruitment of a new CEO, he will remain a stakeholder and member of the board of directors. Messick joined The Ironman Group in 2011. Before that, he served as president of AEG Sports and SVP International for the National Basketball Association (NBA). He completed four Ironman triathlons and dozens of Ironman 70.3 events himself, besides competing in cycling events around the world.
