Ironman has announced a multi-year global partnership with Santini that will see the maker of technical apparel become the exclusive cycling and triathlon apparel partner for all owned Ironman races across the world. As part of the agreement, Santini will develop a co-branded, athlete-focused collection, which will be available for the 2019 race season. Santini apparel will make its debut at Ironman 70.3 in Marbella on April 28. The products will be available at the Ironman events around the world as well as online at the official Ironman merchandise e-store and Santini website. Ironman, part of Wanda Sports Holdings, operates a global portfolio of events that includes the Ironman Triathlon Series, the Ironman 70.3 Triathlon Series, 5150 Triathlon Series, Ironkids, Iron Girl, six of nine International Triathlon Union World Triathlon Series races, as well as road cycling events such as the UCI Velothon Majors Series, mountain bike races, premier marathons and other multisport competitions. Santini Maglificio Sportivo, headquartered near Bergamo, Italy, was founded in 1965 by Pietro Santini with a focus on cycling apparel. Santini products have been designed and manufactured in Italy ever since the foundation of the company. Today Santini exports around 80 percent of its production.
