J. Lindeberg, the Swedish fashion and sports apparel company, is searching for a new chief executive after the departure of Jonas Meerits, who has been at the helm for the last five years. Textilwirtschaft reports that Stefan Engström, the company's global brand director and shareholder, will be the acting chief executive until a replacement is found. J. Lindeberg was taken over last August by three investors from the Danish fashion industry and one of them, Dan Friis, has since become J. Lindeberg's chairman.
