Jan van Leeuwen, sales director for Vans in Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA), has become vice president and general manager for Vans in the region. He will report directly to Rick Wood, the president of VF Corp's Outdoor and Action Sports Coalition in EMEA. Van Leeuwen only joined Vans in 2011, after three years at Sole Technology, preceded by stints at O'Neill, Nike and Puma. He will continue to lead the European sales team until a successor is appointed. Another person who will be reporting directly to Rick Wood is Nathan Hill, who has become sales director for Reef in EMEA, based in Lugano. Since last year, he has been sales and marketing director for Jansport in EMEA. Hill joined the VF group, owner of Vans, Reef, Jansport and many more brands, in 2006. He was previously key accounts manager for Vans and country manager of Jansport in the U.K. and Ireland.
