Jason Steris, the 42-year-old former president of Volcom, has become chief executive of the company, which is owned by PPR like Puma. He takes the place of Richard Woolcott, the 47-year-old co-founder of Volcom, who is moving into a newly created role as executive chairman. Woolcott acted as president and CEO of Volcom until 2008. He has served as chairman and CEO since then.
