John Hoke, vice president of global footwear design at Nike, is moving to Converse, one of Nike’s subsidiaries, to become its vice president of global footwear. In this newly created position at Converse, he will lead footwear design and development. Converse, which celebrates its 100th anniversary this year, enjoyed 40 percent revenue growth in Nike’s most recent 2nd quarter and Hoke is expected to develop this further. Hoke joined Nike in 1992 and was promoted to global creative director of footwear design in 2002. He was promoted to vice president in 2003.
