Joma has developed and patented a technology, called Hybrid System, in which titanium particles are incorporated in the fibers of its higher-end tennis shirts. The Spanish company claims that the titanium ions thus irradiated through the skin lead to a better oxygenation of the blood by creating extra water particles.
