Joma has signed a three-year sponsorship agreement with Juan Carlos Ferrero, starting with the Australian Open. The Spanish firm will supply the Spanish champion’s clothing and footwear, and it will develop a special collection named after him as it is already doing for another endorsing tennis player, Feliciano Lopez. Ferrero currently ranks 23rd on the ATP Tour. Lotto Sport Italia sponsored him for three and a half years, benefiting from his notoriety in the Grand Slam, but it decided last July not to renew the contract after its scheduled expiration at the end of 2009, considering among things the fact that it is already sponsoring three other Spanish tennis players: David Ferrer, Guillermo Garcia-Lopez and Carla Suarez Navarro.
