Joma is moving into the Argentinian market through a licensing agreement with KA Argentina, a company that was previously the licensee for the Kappa and Robe di Kappa brands. According to the local press, the Argentinian company will invest $15 million into a new factory that will manufacture sports shoes and clothing, especially for football and tennis. Joma, which began venturing outside its domestic market in 1984, recently announced that its international sales had grown bigger than those in Spain. Joma is distributed in more than 70 countries and has its own subsidiaries in the U.S., Mexico, Panama, Hong Kong, Germany, Italy and the U.K.
