Jon Parsons, who supported Srixon Sports Europe's rapid expansion for about 12 years, is no longer involved with the company. He effectively supervised marketing for the brand in the U.K. and Europe, helping Srixon to raise its U.K. market share in balls from 0.3 percent to more than 30 percent at its peak, and to become the U.K.'s market leader in two-piece balls. Parsons has been active in the golf market for about two decades, starting at Slazenger in the late seventies. He established TaylorMade in the U.K. and started working with Srixon in 2003. The company acquired Cleveland Golf in 2008 and started reorganizing some of its operations in Europe last year. The marketing tasks at Srixon Europe are currently managed by Ben Davis for the U.K. and Dean Cracknell for continental Europe.
