Jussi Mikkola of Finland has been confirmed as the chairman of Intersport International Corp. (IIC) for at least one year, replacing Klaus Jost who resigned a few months ago following his departure from Intersport Germany. The annual meeting of the organization, which was held in Sweden, also elected Steve Evers, chief operating officer of Euretco in the Netherlands, to the board of directors, replacing Mikael Kold from Denmark. François Neukirch from France remains vice chairman. Franz Julen is still the chief executive of IIC after 15 years in the job.
