Just one day after Nike's presentation of its new FuelBand SE in New York City, Adidas chose the GigaOm's Mobilize conference in San Francisco to present its Android-based MiCoach Smart Run. This rather bulky, yet multi-functional wrist-top device is said to be the most advanced intuitive running watch in the market. It incorporates a GPS receiver to calculate speed, distance and the heart rate. It has a training coach and an MP3 reader for the runner to listen to music. It will become available at adidas.com and at selected stores worldwide on Nov. 1, shortly ahead of Nike's FuelBand.
