K-Swiss Global Brands has appointed the former Puma head of design, Sean O'Shea, as the new creative director of K-Swiss with immediate effect. In his new role he will oversee all facets of K-Swiss design and development globally, from concept to finished product, reporting directly to Barney Waters, K-Swiss president. He will be based in Westlake Village, California. O'Shea brings K-Swiss nearly 20 years of footwear design experience. He joins K-Swiss from Puma, where he was head of design for running and training. Prior to Puma, he worked as senior footwear designer for Nike Basketball, vice-president of men's footwear at Marc Fisher, and he held senior design roles at Global Brand Marketing, Adidas, Converse and Polo Ralph Lauren.
