K-Swiss has appointed Eric Sarin as its new vice president of product, reporting directly to Barney Waters, K-Swiss' chief marketing officer. Sarin will oversee all aspects of the brand's product design, development and strategy globally and will be based in Westlake Village, California. He brings to K-Swiss 17 years of global experience in the athletic and lifestyle footwear industries. Most recently, he was part of the team behind the remarkable turnaround of Le Coq Sportif. Prior to Le Coq, he served as international business unit manager at Puma, where he led the lifestyle business and seasonal creative concepts from 2002 to 2008. Sarin also worked for Adidas, from 1996 to 2002, holding various U.S. and European design and product management roles, including senior product manager for Adidas Originals footwear.
