K-Swiss has appointed Mike Miringoff as its new global director of tennis. He will report directly to Barney Waters, K-Swiss' brand president. In his new role, Miringoff will be responsible for the sales, marketing, products and all aspects of the performance tennis business in North America. He brings to K-Swiss vast experience in the tennis industry across management, product, commercial, sales, and marketing. He joins K-Swiss from Wilson, where he served as regional commercial manager for the Asia-Pacific region, operating from Shanghai. Prior to Wilson, at Nike he served as key account manager for the Western region. He has also been the director of player development for the United States Tennis Association (USTA). Also this year, K-Swiss has hired Patrick Buchanan and Sean O'Shea from Creative Recreation to serve as marketing director and creative director, respectively. The company will move its headquarters to downtown Los Angeles on Jan. 1, 2017.
