K-Way, one of the brands of Basicnet, has worked with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles to develop a special model of its Panda car that features a foldable Visibag safety device, consisting of a high-visibility sleeveless jacket stored inside a dedicated pouch in the seats. Basicnet's president and founder, Marco Boglione, has developed the Visibag, registering the brand name, to allow the driver to be viewed during the night or in the fog in case of problems. Italian gas stations are selling similar jackets as a safety device, but they are not as fashionable as K-Way's Visibag, whose name sounds similar to the airbag. The new Panda K-Way car was presented at the International Motor Show in Geneva (March 5-15). It will be available for purchase at Fiat dealerships in Italy from the month of May and later on in other European countries. Coincidentally, Basicnet and Fiat are both based in Turin.
