K2 Sports Europe has appointed Max Anselstetter as its new marketing manager and Sebastian Schmitz as its new marketing coordinator. Anselstetter was hired in 2012 as European marketing coordinator for K2 Snowboarding, adding BCA (Backcountry Access) to his duties in 2014. He assumed his new post late last year, with the departure of Andreas “Black” Weiss, and is overseeing all marketing for K2´s multi-brand portfolio. Schmitz was a rider on the K2 team 13 years ago, as a high-schooler, before becoming a trainee and then a sales assistant at K2's European headquarters near Munich. He is returning now after a break to complete his education. He will be handling press relations, working with European K2's European athletes and coordinating all B2B and B2C campaigns in European markets.
