Italian sportswear brand Kappa has unveiled a new partnership with the Automobile Club de l’Ouest (ACO), the French organizers of the iconic 24 Hours of Le Mans. The new three-year deal, starting in 2024, will see Kappa as the Official Sportswear Dresser of the event. The contract was negotiated by IMG Licensing, which is responsible for the exclusive marketing of licensing rights for the “24 Heures Le Mans” brand.
Kappa will outfit all ACO’s permanent teams. In addition, the brand will release a licensed 24H Le Mans collection, mixing sport and lifestyle, each year throughout the partnership. The 24 Hours of Le Mans celebrated its centenary in 2023. It will return to the city of Le Mans, in northwestern France, on June 12-16, 2024. Kappa is part of the portfolio of Turin-based BasicNet, which also owns Superga, K-Way, Robe di Kappa, Jesus Jeans, Sabelt, Briko and Sebago.
