Karhu is widening its distribution across Europe for spring 2010 after launching its Fulcrum footwear in North America this year. The company intends to extend the brand across the Central European running market with new distribution partner in Germany and Italy. Rono, Run & Style, the German company that owns the Rono running apparel brand, will distribute Karhu footwear in Germany and Austria. Higro, located near Bologna, will distribute the brand in Italy. Additionally, Karhu is taking control of its distribution in Finland and Scandinavia through its subsidiary Karhu Nordic at the end of this year via a strong alliance with Intersport Finland.
